
Online Publications for Schools
The way schools receive essential information is changing. The Department for
Education and Skills is replacing the paper it sends to schools with a new
online service. This will make it easier to access all the information and
publications staff in schools need, when they need it.
Currently, schools receive a monthly paper-based mailing containing various
publications, including the Spectrum newsletter. From now on head teachers will
receive a monthly email alert, highlighting any items that are essential reading
for schools. Clicking web links in the email enables them to view documents in
the catalogue and decide which to order or download.
Teachers too can browse, select, order or download what you need, when they need
it. Ensure you don't miss out on essential information by registering to receive
the new emailed Spectrum.
Further information will be delivered to school staff later in the term but
schools are invited to consider the implications now.
